After matriculating from the National School of the Arts (NSA).Sean Pages continued in pursuing his dream of making an album with his long time partner in crime Morale.

It was a period where no one believed in their goal hence they did not receive help in terms of studio time and production. They then decided to do it themselves, they got a hold of music production software, borrowed his mom’s computer and started learning how to make beats. It took him 6 months to learn the basics and Sean felt confident enough to produce an album.

His first project was the Glitterati mixtape in 2003, a compilation which consisted of hip-hop artists like Dome, Morale, Maggz, Psypho, Diamond, Dot Com, Snazzy D, and Ngwenya to name a few. The project was a big success on the streets and before he knew it, his name was ringing in everyone’s ears. A couple months later him and Morale received a called from Psypho who just got a deal from BMG and was keen on doing an album with them, A group known as The Benjamins was born.

Unfortunately due to many disagreements the project died out and they all went our separate ways. Fuelled by a lot of frustrations and anger, Morale decided to pursue a solo career and requested Pages help in completing his first mixtape "The rising Son". A major success which received airplay in metro fm’s top ten for a consecutive 3 months. A video for two of his tracks (Polygamy & Fast Lanes featuring Maggz) was shot in 2005 which had major air play in Africa’s number one music channel, channel O.

In 2007 their work was crowned best mixtape of the year by Hype magazine’s Hype awards. (check out www.hypemagazine.co.za/hypeawards)
Sean has also worked with the likes of : 985: The album won them a record deal worth R500 000 from a major record label Gallo. Bonez: His track ‘ rainy nights’ which Sean Pages produced was number one on the the metro fm’s charts for 3 consecutive weeks.

Among other artists Sean has worked with are Spaceman, Explicit, Bonez, Young Marcus (rest in peace), Don Juan, Octave Couplet, Wizdom, Typhus, Eli, The Anvils and many more soon to blow artists. His latest production work is on Morale’s official debut album "The Rising Star" which many, who have heard it already, consider the album as a classic.

Sean Pages has done music production for E.tv’s Backstage, including a soundtrack for an upcoming animation series Khaba soon to be playing on M-Net. He’s had some of his tracks on the Hype Magazine mixtapes which most have been voted best in the by the readers.
